Message from NFS Managing Director Mr. Kanawi Pouru
Welcome to the Papua New Guinea Forest Authority (PNGFA) website. The PNGFA website which was launched on February 14th 2007 is very essential in communicating with our different stakeholders.
Although one of our major stakeholders – the resource owners will rarely be able to get information through our website due to infrastructural limitations in their villages, the creation and launching of this website is very important.
The PNGFA is committed to “promote the management and wise utilization of the forest resources of Papua New Guinea as a renewable asset for the well-being of present and future generations”.
