WELCOME to the Papua New Guinea Forest Authority (PNGFA) website. The PNGFA website which was officially launched on March 30th, 2007 by National Forest Board Chairman Valentine Kambori, is a very essential medium for communicating with our stakeholders.
Although one of our major stakeholders – the resource owners will rarely be able to get information through our website due to infrastructural limitations in the villages, the creation and launching of this website is very important to enable our other stakeholders, especially those overseas to have access to information about PNG Forest Authority.

Visitors to the website would also be able to see first hand what Papua New Guinea Forest Authority is doing, in particular the promotion of sustainable forest management through various strategies and policy initiatives.
The forestry sector is often very controversial. We hope that through the use of this website, misinformation about the forestry sector in Papua New Guinea will be lessened.
